i look exactly like her, according to everyone who's seen us together.

at chinese new year or wedding dinners (especially now that i've grown up), her sisters remark on how i look like a doppelganger of her when she was my age.

she's only half a centimeter taller than me, but she's very nearly two shoe sizes smaller, and she always complains that my feet are so huge, i'll never find the shoes i want.

she sings in the house a lot, and sometimes i sing along, sometimes even try to outsing her just for the sake of annoying her.

we don't agree on almost everything, because our personalities are as different as the north is from the south.

she's my mother, and i love her to bits.
