how much is that flicker in the window?

yesterday was my last day of classes for the first half of my first sem in degree, and i couldn't have been happier. my break will be for two weeks, so that's fourteen days of not having to set an alarm for classes, not having to stress for parking, not having to endure the crazy ldp jam and not having to check bb7 like, 24/7 for subject updates.

WHOOP-DEE-DOO.

just got back from kl and lunch with the boyf, feeling so terribly sleepy right now. he's sleeping behind me on the couch right now while i type furiously on my little compaq keyboard, and the "black and yellow" song is booming in my face. i shall shut off the tv soon because it's annoying me.

anyway, the pc fair was madness. it was packed like sardines, and at the very end were all the telcos, celcom, maxis, digi, u mobile. the maxis people were so freaky, they even fought to promote stuff to us. -____- seriously, they really did. and there i was, wide eyed and frightened as a mouse in a cat colony. finally got out feeling a little dazed. actually went there to check out their camera pricings, but they were all so terribly expensive.

enter the sony alpha nex-5. this is the little baby i've been looking at, but its price isn't angelic at all. it's slightly over 3k at the pc fair for the double lens, but its about 300 bucks cheaper online. boyf said i should get this over the D3100 because it's more compact and more convenient for someone like me, since he said i'd get lazy to bring the giant SLR out. that's true actually, heh. my current cybershot is a sony, and it's not too bad.

but where am i gonna get the money? T__T

pa, can i get this for my birthday? i won't pester you for any more presents for the next four years. and for my birthday, we'll eat bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. PLEAAAASSSE?

decisions, decisions.

had a lunch set of lasagna, iced peach tea and a tiramisu shot. yummeh. lasagna was tasty. not great, but tasty. and the tiramisu was good too, cos it lacked the coffee flavour. me no like coffee. hehe. boyf had curry laksa, which burned my mouth because i completely forgot that laksas were hot, so i dumped the whole helping of meehoon and soup into my mouth, which ensued in a battle between my sensory buds and mind and i just ended up gurgling like a sick baby. i think, sometimes, just sometimes; i leave my brain at home and forget to bring it with me.

the lasagna! yes, i took a bite and then realised i wanted to take a photo to show my mum. heh.

by the way, this was at cinta ria, beside the uber famous chicken claypot rice in DJ. near the dj domino's la actually. not too bad, not too expensive, worth a try! although parking there is crazy, it's packed during the lunch hour. even cinta ria was packed. boyfriend's cousin's place. so go there to eat eat eat! :)
